This could be the next BIG thing.
Update: You can now unlock your own iPhone with your own computer.
Read about it and get links on Engadget here.
Step by step instructions.
“Many iPhone users are learning to their surprise that they can make ringtones from only a relatively small number of songs.”
So you’ve come to find out that you can’t get your favorite song as a ringtone for only a $1. Well Apple will help you make a
ringtone for free with iTunes. Ready?
Step 1:
Find the song you want to convert in your iTunes Library. Make a playlist called ringtones and put your song(s) in the playlist.
Step 2:
You will need to cut the song to about 30 seconds in length. Go to File -> Get Info -> Options. Here you will set the Start and Stop to 30 seconds.
Step 3:
Next you will need to set iTunes to convert your music to 22 khz Sample Rate and Channels to mono encoding.
Step 4:
Right click on the song to convert selection to mp3.
Step 5:
Using your bluetooth connection send the audio files to your phone. If you don’t have bluetooth you can use a USB Bluetooth adapter.
Browse to you new ringtone and select it.
I was browsing through Craigslist and I noticed that they are running a new layout. Seems like its only for SF right now.
“Again: we can confirm with 100% certainty that iPhoneSIMfree.com’s software solution completely SIM unlocks the iPhone, is restore-resistant, and should make the iPhone fully functional for users outside of the US.”
The requirements: The minimum order is 50 licenses. This is not negotiable. Any order below, please contact one of our reseller in the where to buy section.
We offer price breaks for 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500 and 5000 licenses.
Now I’ve already done a few searches and you can find people who have bought licenses and will unlock your phone for as little as $50.00. I’m just surprised it took so long. Now with the price drop on the iPhone and I can use my current service I may just pick one up now.
This weekend I Stumbled Upon GeekTool. After wondering what I could do with this tool that might be useful to me, I did a few searches and found First Clown. My first two favs are Database Checker & Web Server Checker which are handy for someone like me who’s got a few eCommerce site’s running. The runners up in the list are Minutiae, Network, and iCal. And the search goes on for new scripts.
They say that more than any other medium of advertising, video conveys an image of credibility, innovation and success. Which is why I see more and more marketing companies offering video for lawyers. Videos allow the potential client to be engaged by compelling video and graphics thus enabling the client to get a real feel for the law firm and attorneys. The one reason for lawyer videos is conversions. The best part about lawyer videos is most of the companies take care of the video production from start-to-finish. Everything from pre-production, production, post-production services and scripting. Even Video SEO for lawyers, which makes video easily accessible through You Tube, Google Video and many others all of which will increase your website traffic and client contacts. So far I’ve seen prices range from $30,000.00 to $5,000.00.
